Family

Milla, Maggie's real name, hasn't been able to get in to contact with her family, but she's taken the news better then I expected.

Nothing much has happened really, we have just spent most of our time, aside from trying to contact anyone of the flock so Milla can say goodbye, cuddling and learning of each other...

I still have no idea what the fuck happened to my life but hey, we got a dog. Milla went to buy a Shiba , and he's as lazy as we are and sleeps in our bed all day.

We named him Dougo.

Time to catch the wind.

Since my brother uses the Worm's account, I guess I will use my sister's since then it suggest's a less... Chaotic voice.

I am the Tawny Owl. And I am here to give you all a message. Several, actually.

Firstly, The Worm's ability as a Receiver has in fact taken damage from the attack of his last dream. I've still got Nesting within me a large amount of the Bright One's birds. I spend all night staring at him the moment my sister and he fall asleep, sharing the bed as I stare at him only for him to not mention it, or dreams at all, as he wakes.

The best we can do at this point is leave him to his fate, for another of Them will surely come after my Brother's Storm. Yet, he won't be along.

However, I recall the tenderness that my sister brought out of him, and the drink giving them both courage to share their first kiss before they drowned themselves into a stupor from the heckling of our Crest and Beaks, who I heckled back when they were all cuddled in the other room about the love birds.

The Bright One deems we should leave soon, but Maggie may end up nesting here and not return to our nest.

And I am fine with it, as is the Bright One and Kingfisher.

As a family, King and I very likely see having her somewhere safe will be best, as we both entered service to the Bright One to keep her safe. Having her tail us has been a burden, no matter how enjoyable it's been to remain a family, King and I worry far too much that the Bright One itself has to watch her so that we, it's hand's when it needs not wings, may act.

The Bright One is happy with the idea of her staying here, as it means that should the Worm still be special, it will have it's eyes and wings ready for it, whether to guard it or claim it.

And thus, lastly, is the reason for this post.

We are leaving. We got the lovebirds to go see a movie while we clean up, pack and move to a new base. We won't be found, but we may perch and visit.

We are to go to America, where the flock that our Faceless keeps is suffering heavy looses in a War where a Crimson Knight as great as his Master, a Dying Man shard and as well as some offshoots of the Hushed Monks seeking to allow the Quiet to claim us all.

All sides seem to desire to remove him, for he is successful of the vast army that serves the Bright One, that the Bright One itself deems it necessary for us to assist.

I guess every Faceless Bastard will see death at one point or another, it seems.

I fucking hate myself...

My sister is the only one that can remember anything and none of us are happy with it but the Bright Ones.

Crow tried to betray us and murder the Worm, he died and because we were all drunk we ended up wondering if mistakes were made or not and Tawny isn't telling because she's hungover still, having drunk the lost of us under the table...

The worm out drunk me and I hate that. When I tried asking for her what happened she told me to ask my boyfriend...

I'm terrified to know the truth...

Well...

I was on a power high the entire time I fought and for hours after. I recall nothing but the surge of being linked with the Kings and being the vassal that is a true hand for them.

I don't recall what happened here either. Crow's dead in the middle of the house, I was in bed with Emu and Cassowary and Tawny and Magpie are with the Worm...

And we drank a crap ton of booze it seems.

Merry fucking Christmas I guess.

Fun fact: Drunk Kings are so fun, that when they try and bring sober ones to organise us, they some how also end up drunk.

Merry Christmas!

Got him cooperating... Took longer and more effort to figure it out. Just turns out he needed a break and some rest.

We'll be having a little Christmas dinner, the other's returning with gifts later tonight.

I can pick gifts for everyone, but not for Dean... Not like I'm used to getting something for someone whose a Receiver that hasn't been made a Nest yet, whose human worries overwhelm most of his thoughts that aren't Depression or Anxiety...

I just wish thing were simple as they were before this mission, the Bright Ones are confused on what how to handle this situation as much as we are...

The Eve.

We eventually got past Dean's little barricade, and found him in a pathetic state... he hasn't been keeping with his Anti-Depression medicine and coupled with the alcohol... I admit that it left a bad taste in my mouth to know we're driving him into this state.

The attack lasted until 2 hours before Christmas Eve. My Brother, The King, with his Storm Kings laid waste to the Infestation of the Intrusion. Not even the death of an obscenely large number of many bugs left a trace, for only scorch marks indicated anything has taken place.

I managed to convince everyone to leave me with him for the day... his mentality could ruin our operation and the Bright Ones were concerned if he died.

This Flock

Kingfisher, or King, is a 23 year old male that can fuse with his birds, something other Nests can't do.

He is a Receiver that can take upon the physical attributes of the birds and can utilise their wings and control over electricity, as well as strengthen his connection with them to essentially have eyes on every location in an area he wants.

He's the one that has saved the area from what I'm now knowing as the Intrusion, or as he calls them, Kings of Infestation.

He called forth a storm that can target tiny ass insects in groups and on their own and leave a charred mess. People taken over by these bugs, Drones Maggie calls em, had also joined the attack, one of them managing to have a conversation with King before he struck them down.

Apparently the birds have overstayed their welcome on the Intrusion's territory. The birds and King are literally throwing up a storm out of the blue when it's meant it be a hot ass night with clear skies.

Tawny, as Maggie calls here, is another Receiver that's apparently able to move large locations around her into the same beach of storms I once dreamt of. Because of this, she can isolate areas by moving say, an entire house to this beach.

My house is literally now a waterfront home in some other-world while it's plot of land is being a war-zone that I can't seem to find anything strange being reported on the internet. Not to mention they want to make me one of them now, for my safety they say. I've locked myself into my room and so far no ones come knocking aside from Maggie asking to talk. I ignored her.

This place is taking a toll on me. I still have internet access here, despite it being shit. I'm just blasting music and I'm about to start drinking soon so I can just sleep. I'm running out of time I guess, but I still can't make this knife draw blood...
