The issue with a drunk Quill is that you can't trust them to do their job. More so when they're in an emotional state.
Magpie is asleep and it's only just 8pm. She thought it was a smart idea to drown her shame in cider. I may have teased my sister too much there. Now that she's decided that it was all true and that the reality of her words were all true, definitely time for her to sleep.
Crow won't bother looking into records of people, but he's sadly the second best Covert we can get. And I'd prefer Magpie with the Receiver than him. I checked his history and records, and he's more worthy of my sister then Crow.
Apologies, Faceless and those that followed him here, allow this Crest to be an elder brother to my youngest sister for a moment.
I know you'll read this later, Magpie. Will you think it's true or false, will be up to you. But Crow is annoyed as he thinks you're better off with him, that's his issue. Not sure if you will recall that when I told you, since you were rubbing your face against the Receiver's. I should have figured to check the room before letting you have it.
Regardless, I've explained why Magpie isn't writing this, and teased her enough publicly. Time for the Crest to be your Quill.
Our Worm, who is a Receiver, woke up. The dream he had was of the domain of an unending storm at a beach. He dreamt of Tawny, as we had hoped. The Storm Kings, as I prefer to see them, thought if enough of them concentrated into one servant, we could influence which one he'd see from when he was asleep. It was successful. Crow's watching him as he feeds the Storm Kings, unaware of their true identity and nature. Then, we'll drug him again and do another test the Storm Kings will perform, to see if he can tune to a King directly or only when they are filtered through a servant or vessel. He's complied, though we had to make him understand that he's in danger if we don't learn his limits.
Prey can be made to serve the Predator when you offer to guard it.
We need to find how he works, how he could be used for and against us and the Storm Kings, and then work from there. That is the task for Australia's best flock, the Mob. My flock.
Emu and Cassowary are out getting supplies and equipment we'd need for as many occasions that may arise as we can possibly prepare for, Crow will later be scoping the neighbourhood to study it, Tawny is out assisting in studying the Worm and I'll be helping them all to the best of my ability as the Storm Kings require of me.
Magpie will be left in a compromising position with the Worm so that she's in a panic until she reads this blog post. Then maybe return to her task or play video games to calm down.
I haven't forgotten to be an older brother to my youngest sister, even if I am her Crest and she's my Quill.

So, I assume the answer is no, but... If the me in your universe is a high up guy that I assume can give orders... Can I give you guys orders or just that version of me? Also if I could... What would happen if the two different me gave conflicting orders? Multiverse stuff is weird...
ReplyDeleteOh I should have known you were one of that faceless psycho's friends. Can't you people just leave me the fuck alone.
ReplyDeleteNot directly acquaintanced, we merely serve the same throwing dice, but just different sides of it.
DeleteRegardless, sure. Eventually. I don't plan on doing my sister's job all the time.
