We know of two Fears that operate involving Dreams.
One, being the Rake, the second, the Grotesque.
We can count the Rake out, as he definitely wasn't present when Dean has had his dreams since we've arrived. Hopefully, anyway. I shared a bed with him the second time and the idea that the Rake was in the same room as me and so close has my heart racing with, well, fear.
The second makes more sense, except then how does he seem to see through other servants... It's still a possible idea on how he could be okay with it, since I doubt even the Archive would have information to provide on the Grotesque. We won't try and ask E.A.T. what so ever. Her deals require knowledge for knowledge and means we'd have to give someone up to her...

Otherwise, I'd have to guess that Compulsion is a thing, the idea that people are compelled to blog or what ever... I can't see it being easily even for a Receiver anyway to accept this all. But Dean has Anxiety and Depression, so I guess even those mental illnesses play into this. King isn't worried about these details, telling me to keep at it. What, I'm not sure. My brother can be strange, and that's okay, but this Worm has me more confused then my own Brother does.
Despite being explained to him they are Gods, Dean's currently feeding the Bright Ones still. They still act natural with him. The only thing he's noticed that's different is the lack of needing to wash away bird shit from the front porch.
He's one complaint about us boarding with him is having his mother think we're dating. He's conversed normally with us all, pretty open with many details about himself with his mental illnesses, and even asked Emma and Cassie if they could look over a fight scene he was writing for them to provide professional opinion.
I really can't get him.
He's winging it a lot better then I did when I became a Nest by accident.

Yeah I don't get his reaction either.
ReplyDeleteAlso, "winging it"? Really? You really had to make that fucking pun?
Doubt she meant it.
